Yesterday was the perfect bright and crisp spring fever day. Sadly with today's dawn came grey skies strewn with even darker clouds and bitter winds to keep the fever at bay. These are the best days for slaving in the kitchen. Today's dismal weather kitchen session will, I think, be focused on cupcakes. Too late to turn back, I have already invested too much precious time perusing Martha Stewart's 'Best Cupcakes'. My personal favorites below:
