since i'm already on a video kick, I just stumbled across this one
beautiful, sort of hypnotic song with an alluring amount of glitter and sparkles
Scream & Shout REMIX with BRITNEY, Will.i.am, LIL WAYNE, Diddy, Waka Flocka Flame, Hit Boy
the original song is so terrible that I didn't have much hope for even a remix with Weezy...buttt if you skip the first half where Britney and Will.i.am serve up the same milquetoast shit just slowed down, it actually turns into a pretty good jam (though I am quite partial to Lil Wayne, Waka and Diddy)

Soul/R&B along with goth/punk influences get mashed together to form an unorthodox conundrum of sounds that are both dismal and tragic, yet beautiful and sublime at the same time. Echo-ing R&B vocals reverberate beneath skittish drums patterns as if they're being shouted from miles away, injecting tracks with deep-seated feelings of built up desire. Even when Compton Chic decides to display her own voice on tracks, which happens a few times throughout the EP, the results are inherently visceral—showcasing her diverse talents on the most bare and basic level and leaving it all on the line."
