FLORAL OXFORDS got me blushing, get in my closet

Daltrey Oxfords by Jeffery Campbell

I am so terribly in love with bold-patterned oxfords that I might finally have to sacrifice a basic pair to rework in to something fantastical like this or this..

Strange Fruit, San Antonio Botanical Garden

I still do not know what this free-loading vine is.  It had grown up the backside of Paliurus spina-christi (Christ Thorn) and produced these wonderful spiked cages for it's ruby-red fruits.

Lakeshore Park Snippets

I thought this iron support looked like a xxx-long twin bed.  Sleeping over water is incredibly soothing.  A hammock would be delightful.

The Eastern end of Ladybird lake before Longhorn Dam, after which, it becomes the Colorado River again.

It was 60ish and windy so Chupi was in and out of the water too fast for decent photos.  I like the movement of foliage in this one.

The East side of Longhorn Dam.

Retama or Palo Verde (Leguminosae Parkinsonia aculeata) is one of my favorite Texas native plants.  It has thorny green bark, sparse, blade-like leaves that create an airy effect and brilliant yellow flower bunches in the spring.
